At a MAGA conference in Arizona on Sunday, president-elect Donald Trump gave a speech where he laid out plans for his presidency.

He said that on his very first day in office, he will sign an executive order to stop what he called “transgender lunacy.” Trump declared that the official policy of his government will recognize only two genders: male and female.

Trump made several promises about actions he will take on day one. He said he will ban transgender individuals from serving in the military and remove transgender topics from elementary, middle, and high schools.

He also promised to prevent men from competing in women’s sports, saying this change will happen immediately.

He joked with the audience, asking whether these actions should happen on day one, day two, or day three, but quickly confirmed, “How about day one?”

He criticized what he referred to as “child sexual mutilation,” vowing to end surgeries or treatments related to gender transitions for minors.

Trump added that his administration would focus on protecting traditional gender roles, saying, “With the stroke of my pen, we’re going to stop the transgender lunacy.”

Throughout his speech, Trump also criticized “woke” culture, a term often used to describe progressive social ideologies.

He claimed that this mindset was harming America and promised his policies would fight against it. The audience responded enthusiastically, cheering and clapping at his statements.

Trump also spoke out against transgender athletes in women’s sports, calling it unfair and saying he would make sure this practice ends during his presidency.

He even criticized women’s boxing, using it as an example of how he believes fairness in sports has been undermined.

The event, called “AmericaFest 2024,” was held in Phoenix and organized by Turning Point USA, a conservative group led by Charlie Kirk.

It was a gathering of Trump supporters and featured speeches from other prominent figures, including Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson, Congressman Matt Gaetz, and Senator Ted Cruz. Trump’s speech came just days before Christmas, energizing his supporters with promises of swift and dramatic changes under his administration.
